Iphone 7 Plus Review
I own an iPhone 7 plus in rose gold. As we all know, our generation, speaking on behalf of generation Z, is obsessed with our phones. I can definitely say that I have an obsession with my phone because of social media and the different types of communication I have with my friends.
Being an iPhone owner/user, it comes with the luxuries of FaceTime, iMessaging, etc. With FaceTime, we can call in as a group of up to 4 people and talk for hours and hours, you can type messages, and apply different filters and effects.
Imessaging has option where you can create a group text with up to 40 people. You can send funny GIFs, send colorful sketches, play games, send videos, share music, etc. Social media outlets, such as, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, and more are some of the reasons why I personally remain occupied for large amounts of time on my phone. Snapchat is an app where you can share your moments through pictures or videos throughout the day with your friends and family. Snapchat is my favorite app to use because I feel like I can be updated and more knowing of what’s going on in my friend’s lives and anything that’s going on. Another social media app I use on my phone is Instagram. Instagram is somewhat similar to Snapchat, but it’s just more pictures being posted from people’s favorite celebrities, different gossip pages, clothing brands, etc. I use my Instagram page to be in the now of what’s going on in the world, keep up with what my favorite celebrities are doing, and learn new things from different brands and fashion designers. I use my Instagram page as a business platform because I want to be a fashion designer/stylist in the future. For me, having my phone has made it easier and worse off for things in my life. My phone has definitely made it easier to communicate with my friends and family more sufficiently as well as being able to use different research tools if ever I need them. As a teenager, I consider it worse off for me at times because it does cause a major distraction for me and can lead to me wasting valuable time doing unnecessary things instead of focusing on stuff that matters the most, like school work, preparing for my future, and getting things done. Although, I have made a goal for myself to do better and occupy myself less and less each day on social media and apps, it still gets hard at times because I always want to talk to my friends or stay in the know of what’s happening on social media.
